Cookies and similar storage

Cookies, local storage and session storage can remember a basket, session, language or privacy choice, protect the service and support website features. Optional technologies can measure use or personalise marketing. A technology's presence depends on the page, feature used, browser and choices made.

Manage your choices

The banner offers acceptance, rejection of non-essential cookies and category settings. Continuing to browse is not consent. You can reopen the choices at any time using Cookie settings in the footer, including when signed in to the B2B portal. Optional consent can be withdrawn there. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. Necessary features remain available when optional categories are rejected.

You can also restrict or delete cookies and stored website data in your browser. Deletion can sign you out, clear a basket or remove saved preferences. A changed consent choice does not necessarily delete every item previously stored by a browser; browser controls provide a separate deletion option.

Shopify platform

Shopify provides commerce, account, session, basket and privacy-choice functions. Examples in its published storefront cookie list include:

• cart: basket information, 2 weeks.
• cart_currency: basket currency, 2 weeks.
• localization: country setting, 1 year.
• _shopify_cmp: privacy choices, 1 year.
• _shopify_analytics and _shopify_marketing: respective optional purposes, 1 year.

These are provider-documented examples, not a statement that every listed cookie is set on every visit. See the current Shopify cookie list for names, functions and durations. Browser restrictions can shorten storage.

Other connected tools

Hotjar is configured for behavioural analytics, such as understanding page interactions, with its loader controlled by the analytics preference. For provider information see Hotjar privacy information.

The shared storefront also connects Fera for review features. Its documented banana_stand_visitor_id session token supports submitting and editing reviews; the provider says it is not required simply to view reviews. See Fera cookie information and its privacy policy. A tool connected to the shared storefront is not necessarily used on every B2B page.
